Ice Cream Bingo

Saturday May 7 is the date! Don’t miss the Ice Cream Social and Bingo Night sponsored by Great Afternoons. This highly anticipated annual event takes place Saturday evening, May 7, from 6 to 9 PM at the Highland Elementary School gymnasium. Generous individuals and businesses in our community have donated thousands of dollars’ worth of prizes and gift certificates to be awarded to bingo winners throughout the evening in both adult’s and children’s categories. One bingo card is provided with paid admission, and additional cards can be purchased at the door for $2/adults, $1/children. Great Afternoons volunteers will dish up ice cream sundaes with your choice of delicious toppings. Soda, coffee, popcorn and nachos will be available throughout the evening. Door prize drawings and kids’ consolation prizes will round out a great evening in a good cause. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12, and family-of-four admission is just $15.00. Advance tickets are at the Great Afternoons programs or the Family Resource Center or can be purchased that night at the door. Great Afternoons is a nonprofit after-school, infant & pre-kindergarten/day care program serving over 160 children in our community. The program operates at Highland Elementary School facilities under the auspices of the Oregon Coast Community Action Committee (ORCCA).
