Sabin CDC has appointed Mary Schoen-Clark its new executive director. A nationally recognized housing expert, Schoen-Clark was appointed to Iowa Governor Thomas Vilsack’s 2000 Housing Task Force, which spearheaded a tax credit for “hard to house” families in Iowa. Schoen-Clark, as CEO of Oregon Coast Community Action, lead the effort to construct a number of community facilities including a new Child and Family Resource Center, the county’s first regional food bank warehouse, and a Woman’s Shelter, according to a news release.
